Home of the 2010 US Amateur and 2015 US Open. A course unlike any other in the world. I have a million words and no words to describe Chambers Bay. I have a long history with this track. I worked as one of the caddie masters in 2007 when the course opened. I caddied for Michael Putnam during a skins game with Ryan Moore, Bubba Watson and Aaron Baddley. I caddied at the 2010 US Amateur for a kid from New Mexico. After the first round (played at The Home Course), we were in 3rd place out of 260 players. On the first hole of round two, we took an 11, and missed the cut (one of the hardest opening holes in all of golf for a lot of reasons). I shot the 2015 US Open practice rounds, logged 110 miles walked that week, and sat for 12 hours in the bleachers on 18 in hopes to witness something wild - which I did, when Dustin Johnson 3 putted from 8 feet and Speith won the trophy. I have since spent many rounds there shooting for various brands like STIX Golf, TRUE linkswear, USGA, and others. It is truly a place unlike any other. No bad days out there, few good scores when playing back, unreal sunsets, and views for days.
